Hi, welcome to Lady Churchill's blog. I love to follow blogs and get ideas, recipes, and inspiration. I love to decorate cakes and enjoy weddings, parties and events. I am a huge fan of beautifully decorated cakes and cake art. I also like decorating cookies and fancy treats. I hope you enjoy following me while i continue on my journey to decorate cakes, cookies, and anything sweet!
My friend Debbie has a farm in Truro she has worked tirelessly to get her property in order. She and her partner John have 3 acres. There are chickens, a yert, a greenhouse with a large garden. Deb sells her veggies to various places.
There was alot of thought put into her party, she had a local band, a raw food chef from farm maid foods really good stuff! She had a woman who was dancing with fire, some fireworks, hula hooping and lots and lots of friends. She had a blast and loved the cake!
These cookies were done for a wedding in Falmouth. The bride was from Louisiana and her fiance was in the Marines she wanted 2 cookies in each bag to represent them.
This was my first attempt at making a gumpaste tea cup and saucer. It was for an 85th birthday party. The woman drinks tea every night so i used that idea to make the cake.
I did my first Bar Mitzvah cake on saturday. It was at The Cape Codder Resort and Spa in Hyannis. The family asked me to make a fedora for the cake. I also used a picture of their prayer shawl to drape over the cake. The cake was chocolate with buttercream frosting. It seemed to be a big hit. The first picture was the one i had used to make the cake

This cake was made for a co-worker who recently got married. It is a private joke he said he only got married so he would have someone to"pull the plug" you have to know him......Everything used for this cake is edible made of gumpaste for the plug, strip, socket. Cake was chocolate with chocolate frosting and rolled fondant was used to make the top of cake.
